Our Story
Braiders Lounge is a corporate, Natural hair care salon that was founded on April 1st, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It is the sister company of Tapered Barbershop. All of our stylists are licensed and take continued education classes to bring you the best experience possible. Keeping professionalism and consistency is our top priority. It is a place for people that have been looking for a place that they can trust. Not only is Braider’s Lounge a great place for our guests, but also a great place for team members.
Natural hair stylists haven’t always had the best reputation because of the lack of professionalism or career opportunities. Braiders Lounge offers their employees professional development, continued education, and growth opportunities, which include becoming a partner or a franchisee. We want to change the way Natural hair stylists have been viewed and give them a platform they can stand on with pride.
